Every nation has the RIGHT TO LIVE ACCORDING TO UNIVERSAL HUMAN PRINCIPLES OF SAFETY, DIGNITY AND FREEWILL TO DEFEND its land, home, and life.
In 2022, no one could imagine another World War II in the heart of Europe.
On February 24, Russia launched an UNPROVOKED and BARBARIC military attack on Ukraine, marking a new escalation of the eight years long military aggression since Russia attacked Ukraine in 2014, annexing the Crimean Peninsula and occupying parts of the Donbass region.
By now, hundreds of Ukrainian cities and villages are partly or completely destroyed by heavy shelling and bombing by the Russian Armed Forces. Parts of Ukraine already under Russian occupation are on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe, as food, water and medical supply decrease daily.
Almost every Ukrainian family mourns someone´s death or is suffering from the horrors of war crimes, mass executions, and other grave abuses by the Russian military.
The Russian army has killed and abused defenceless Ukrainian civilians, children, women, and the elderly. It has DESTROYED HOPE AND FAITH IN HUMANITY AND JUSTICE.
THE WORLD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.
The invasion has caused Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II.
Because of the merciless war, millions of civilians lost EVERYTHING THEY HAVE BUILT UP OVER THEIR LIFETIME.
Millions of Ukrainian refugees have left their country and are now seeking for refuge abroad.
We are a Belgian non-profit organisation, established in response to the Russian military aggression, with the aim to ease the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
We came together to initiate a charitable foundation to help the Ukrainian people, to provide them humanitarian aid and any other legitimate support during and after the war.
Our human aim is to provide aid to as many people as possible, to all those suffering from the on-going war.
We want to help by raising donations, attracting help and support via various organisations in the EU and Ukraine, including other charities, public and state institutions, government structures, businesses, media, volunteers, and all people ready to help from all across the world.
